Shipped fast and plants arrived in decent condition. Minor damage to the frail canes but snipped off below the damage and I think they will be ok. The note inside suggest that you pot them up for a while until they establish and possibly as long as a year. With dormant season not far off, I rolled the dice and planted directly into the ground and watered in here in Zone 5b/6a. I'll mulch around them with a few inches of pine bark mulch. Won't know much until next Spring at this point. I would have liked to have seen a slightly larger root ball and more sturdy canes. Definitely need support of some type, very leggy. I gently attached them to the trellis. Overall satisfied.
