I ordered both, since I was unsure how much light I wanted/needed, and how much space they'd take up. Surprisingly, the triple light seems to be dimmer overall than the single light. The triple is also much bluer, even when all lights are lit. The photos are of each one, at the maximum brightness setting and with the mix of blue and red lights. Perhaps this is a fluke (the triple looked like it had been repackaged as well, so perhaps it's defective?) I'll stick with the single one.
