Love the design of these--the fact that they wrap AROUND the root structure of a plant. I have larger ollas that are shaped like a large bulb, and they take a large amount of space and sit off to the side of the plant. The design that wraps around the root structure just makes it easier for roots to find the olla as a water source.I ordered this for my tomato plants. Was suprised to find how small they were--their capacity is not great at all. So I took the large ollas I had in my herb garden and wrapped my herbs with these. These are perfect sized for herbs. Just keep that size in mind when considering. Also, wish these had caps for the lids.
