I purchased these for light fixtures in my travel trailer to conserve battery power. They seem to work well, but they have arather blueish tint, like a fluorescent. These particular lamps are not the brightest available, but in the reading lamps over the beds they work fine. I may try to adjust the color by using a yellow magic marker or other filter to warm the color up a bit for a more "home" feel.
