This is a great looking quality light and was on sale so good value for th emoney.I replaced a patio ceiling fan with this fixture due to high winds. I looks great and seems well made.Very nice, solid fixture. While not cheap I still consider it a pretty good value for the money.Looks awesome once installed. But it could have been designed better. The metal part you see, as well as the glass part are quite heavy. Also, the glass has a lip all around, that sits on top of the metal part, and the metal part has two screws that hold it to the fixture on the ceiling. You basically need three hands to install this each time you need to change a bulb. For example, while opening up the light to put in a new bulb, if you hold on to the glass and unscrew the screws on the metal part, the heavy metal part will fall on your hand/arm. If you hold on to the metal part while you loosen the screws, it is too heavy (the weight of the glass combined with the metal part) to hold with one hand, and it could come crashing down. You need two people to remove/install this each time you change a bulb.Beautiful light fixtures and good quality. It is also well packaged.Very nice fixture, if kind of pricey.Elegant, well built, using it with LED bulbs hoping they'll last a long time, cause I am not sure it will be easy to replace them..We purchased this light last week and it arrived with the glass all shattered! We have already put up the other matching outside lights which arrived unharmed so we are reordering and hoping the lamp will arrive intact.
